HOW
DO I RESERVE A PARTY DATE?
|

Parties
are booked on a first come, first serve basis. When a party date and
time has been selected, a deposit will be necessary to secure your
reservation. The deposit is non-refundable and must be received within 7
days of booking your party date and time. The balance will be due on the
day of your party.
Booking parties at least 4-6 weeks in advance is highly suggested.
Posie is happy to book several months in advance if you desire.

WHAT
FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
|
|
|
At
this time, Paypal (instant payment), checks, cash and money orders are accepted for
deposits.
Cash is HIGHLY preferred for balance due at the close of your party.

3.
|
WHERE
ARE THE PARTIES HELD?
|
|
|
Posie
comes to your home or chosen party facility, such as your local
community center, public park, etc. Posie
will not consider visiting parties at a loud, crowded venue such as
Chuck E Cheese, etc. Take into consideration any noise
distractions such as a busy road, construction, etc when planning an
outdoor party.

|

4.

WHAT
IS THIS "PIXIE" VISIT?
|
|
|
Posie
created the special one-on-one visit for children who perhaps are new to
a neighborhood and don't have many playmates, or to celebrate some sort
of milestone for the child such as overcoming thumbsucking or
bedwetting, first day of Kindergarten or any other task that is deemed
special enough for a celebration. The Pixie Visit is special
and sweet, allowing Posie to completely focus on your child and to
lavish beautiful handmade costumes and gifts upon her (to keep!)
Pixie Visits are for one child to enjoy but other children can join in
the fun for a fee.

5.
|
WHAT
AGES ARE YOUR PARTIES FOR?
|
|
|
Parties are for children ages 3 and up. For safety reasons, children
under 3 will not be permitted to take part unless closely supervised by
an adult. Some props and accessories are not suitable for
children under 3.
|
|
|
|
6.
|
HOW
LONG ARE THE PARTIES?
|
|
|
The
length of your party depends on the party package you choose and the age
and number of children. Posie is responsible for the time stated in the package you choose.
This time is an approximation, some parties run a little long. However, your
invitation can state whatever times you would like, if you plan to have
additional activities after Posie's program is complete.

|
7.
|
WHAT
HAPPENS IF I HAVE TO CANCEL MY PARTY?
|
|
|
Once
a deposit has been paid, parties may only be postponed. Posie will gladly
work with you to find an alternate party date for your consideration,
based on availability. If you choose to cancel our services for ANY
reason, your deposit is non-refundable.

|
8.
|
WHAT
HAPPENS IF THERE IS INCLEMENT WEATHER OR THERE IS AN ILLNESS?
|
|
|
In
the case of severe weather or illness, Posie reserves the right to
RESCHEDULE your party. If YOU choose to cancel your party and/or the
services of Posie the Fairy at that time, please remember, your deposit
is non-refundable. If the guest of honor becomes ill, Posie will gladly
work with you to choose an alternate date for your party, based on
availability.

9.
|
DO
YOU HAVE A MINIMUM / MAXIMUM ATTENDANCE?
|
|
|
Parties
may be scheduled for up to 8 or more children. There is no minimum
attendance. The party package is designed for 8 children. Less than
8 may attend, but you are still charged the package price. Posie
has entertained parties of 23 children on her own (with some help from
the guest of honor's and guest's parents). Parties with less
children are certainly easier to handle.

ARE
INVITATIONS INCLUDED?
|
|
|
Sorry, invitations are not
included at this time.
|

11.
|
WHAT
SHOULD THE CHILDREN WEAR?
|
|
|
Girls
are encouraged to dress their "fairy best", in their favorite
princess, fairy or ballet costume. Remember that Posie provides
hand crafted wings and crowns to enhance a costume or dress up simple
jeans and tees. Posie does make tutus which may be purchased for
an additional fee per child.
Boys may dress however they wish as they will be
given dragon wings and horns. They may wear their favorite
superhero, pirate or other fun getup to join in the festive spirit.

12.
|
WILL
THERE BE MAKE-UP/FACEPAINTING?
|
|
|
All
children will have their face or hand painted (depending on the comfort
level of the child). Posie only uses paints made for the
skin which wash off easily with soap and water. Blush, cosmetic grade glitter and sometimes sparkly
stones affixed with eyelash glue are used to create Fairy
Makeovers.
Fairy
Makeovers are offered only to parties for 8 children or less. Fairy Makeovers take time, if you wish to have Complete Fairy
Makeovers for each child in a larger party, additional fees apply.
Please make sure
that parents are aware that there will be facepainting in case of
allergies/personal preference.
Remember
that Posie needs a shaded (if outside) low-traffic area to perform the
facepainting.

13.
|
WHEN
DO YOU NEED THE FINAL R.S.V.P. COUNT?
|
|
|
You
will need to contact Posie at least 7 days prior to your party to review
the R.S.V.P.’s that you have received, and to determine the exact
headcount for your event.
|
